Vampyre’s Prayer of Death

hail o fateful slumber of change
winters barren lands of waste
death be quickened on thy heels
as i lay in bed in twilight’s grace
awakened in the blood of fire
death forgive my forging power
changing thought and will perceived
guiding darkness through womb conceived light is dawning as i breach
and immortal death is close in reach
fateful hour drawing near
rotting soul inside with fear
resting peaceful in the stars above
descends the death of change in love
faster thoughts and piercing flesh
ever comes the prayer of death

You may like my stories if you like the classic frightening vampires of classic literature… no sparkly vampires here.
